MR. CAL BURNS

 Formal Music education started at an early age. Attending The Creative Performing Institute L. I., NY

Music education continued with LaGuardia HS of Music and The Arts NY, NY, The Center for the Media Arts NY, NY

Culminating with the acceptance to The Juilliard School NY, NY.

 

Professional career started early as well. Garnering performances with several Gospel Artists, Such as;

TIMOTHY WRIGHT,  DONNIE McCLURKIN,  DONALD LAWRENCE,  SHIRLEY CAESAR,........ Just to name a few.

Also performances with MERCER ELLINGTON, NATALIE COLE, and others.

 

Professional career continued from that point on, garnering tours, recordings, and performances with several

Artists.

 

Touring Credits: ERIC CLAPTON'S  "Nothing  But The Blues" Tour.  JIMMIE VAUGHAN'S "Strange Pleasure" World Tour.

BB KING'S  "The Thrill Is Back"  Tour. ROBERT CRAY'S  "Blues"  Tour. DON HENLEY'S (of THE EAGLES) "Mini Tour".

Spot Tour dates as well, with Blues legend BUDDY GUY. As well as with Pop/Blues Artist  JOHNNY LANG, 

JAMIROQUAI, THE J GEILS BAND, and THE BRIAN SETZER ORCHESTRA.
